mary burnett talbert was an activist, suffragist, and reformer who was among the most prominent Black women of her time in the 19th century. she co-organized the niagara movement, a precursor to the naacp, and served on the women's committee on international relations, which selected female nominees for positions in the league of nations. 10% of the profits of this piece are donated to the naacp.
