i sat at my dad’s desk and opened the envelope, already teary eyed from a hand written message on the outside from zoe, with an iced coffee in the mug my dad got for me. literally from the first line, started crying.
i don’t know how you do it, the words strung together so perfectly. i had a looooong, rambling prompt, and zoe cherry picked the most perfect details from it and somehow made my thoughts cohesive. i am in awe of your art, and i will cherish this poem forever. i can’t wait to frame it and keep it on our desk. thank you a million times over🫶🏻
